The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils have set themselves up for one the of the toughest schedules in the history of college basketball. The teams budget has gotten extremely low ,and just so they can play basketball next year they set themselves up against several top teams. These games will be sure losses seeing how the Delta Devils havent beat a Division 1 opponet out of there division since 2006. They will embark on a 12,600 mile roadtrip and play teams such as Georgia, Kentucky, BYU, Butler, and Marquette. These games are sure losses for the Delta Devils but they love the game enough to lose just so they can play next season. The players on this team will have to accept that a good winning season they may of had in their conference this year has flown out of the window. Though this schedule has many sure losses for the Delta Devils coach Sean Woods is optimistic about the Devils chances of an upset. The Devils are not at a total loss though they only need $400,000 to $500,000 dollars to stay in the game and they will be recieving $700,000. With the extra money coach Woods wants to spend it on travel costs and recruiting costs. Athletic Director for Mississippi Valley State Donald Sims said, "The only thing that can help us is for our friends, our alumni, and supporters buy into what it would take for us to have a strong Division 1 program." To all those people who say winning is everything just take a look at the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils.

American poem introductory paragraph
In the poem "I, too, Sing America" by Langston Hughes, the tones in the poem are joyless and optimism. The character of the poem is unhappy about the treatment he receives because of his skin color. The family he lives with reject him when someone comes to their house. They make him eat by himself in the kitchen. As he is sent away he knows one day equality will be in America. He knows that one day the color of his skin will mean nothing, and that he can eat in the kitchen when ever he wants.
